About this wine
So…looks like y’all like saving over 56% off on EPIC Cali-Cabernet Sauvignon? Me too!!! Let’s do it all again, shall we? And *POOF*!!! One sip, and you’re high above the valley floor, atop the rocky-red, volcanic, loam-y soils of the Mayacamas Mountains, a full 2,500 feet above the mighty Pacific, some twenty miles inland, where gnarled vines of Cabernet Sauvignon produce tiny, hardy, and ultra-concentrated flavors that grab a hold of your tongue and don’t let go. YEEE-HAW!!! Now, am I talking about some $150+ Mt. Veeder Cab?! Or a cult-y Diamond Mountain gem? NAY! Mendocino, good people! And for ONLY $28!!! I don’t know if ya heard, but the Byrd, byrd, BYRD is da word today!!! 2019 RESERVE Cabernet Sauvignon! Bruce Byrd is the pioneer of the highest elevation plot of vines in the Mendocino AVA – and this Gold Medal Winner from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition is EVERYTHING we love about totally undiscovered, micro-productions of vinous goodness! 20 year old Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the absolute prime of their life, giving up aromas of lilacs, and lavender, with sweet and supple cherries, then blackberries, with head-spinning flavors of crème de cassis, and roasted fennel, and round and creamy sensations of milk chocolate truffles, and a bit of caramel toffee thing going on too! Liquid cashmere in the glass, folks, and this out paces a whole HEAP of $100+ dollar Napa Cab, I tell you what! Six years young and this gorgeously supple 2019 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon is an absolute dream of a wine – especially at our stunning over 56% off price! Not much made – even less to be had…so don’t you dare miss out twice! Go get ‘em, Cab Lovers!
