About this wine
“...there is something incredibly singular and evocative about the character of the Mixed Blacks and Abel 1833 that is not just delicious, but compelling, conjuring a real sense of unique vineyard personality. Readers who are drawn to wines that not only satiate but can transport are going to love these…” – Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate I mean…HELLO!!! The 2015 here is pure class…and with DOUBLE 94 POINTS from two of the toughest critics out there, you’d be wise to bypass my witticisms altogether and make sure you score no less than FOUR of these babies! Still here? (I LOVE that!) We’re talking about a meager 10 cases to share of this 2015 miracle maker…but man, is it ever good!!! It’s floral, and fruity, deeply spiced, and loaded with savory notes that range from smoked meats to green tobacco…and that’s just after one…greedy…sip! Things really stretch out nicely with a few swirls, giving up roses and peonies, a bowlful of cherries, some inky, black plums, and these hyperfresh accents of spearmint and bay laurel…she’s a beaut, Clark!!! Grab a couple if you can…this baddie is FLYING outta here! All Marathon orders will be combined and shipped from our West Coast warehouse. Please allow up to 6 weeks for us to reach all states.
