Klopp Ranch may not sound like one of the sites that would produce some of Russian River’s most powerfully elegant, aromatically beguiling Pinot Noirs – but take it from the folks who KNOW (ahem…Merry Edwards, MacRostie, Cobb, Talisman, and MORE) – this site may be on the smaller side, but the wines crafted here are indubitably LARGER THAN LIFE! Salty seaweed, with delectably tart cherries, structured and aromatic Assam tea, with a kiss of grapefruit peel, warm plums, exotic star anise, and cinnamon, and…AND!
