His work not only added Cornas to the global wine power hierarchy, but his consulting efforts with luminaries like Domaine de la Janasse and Chapoutier set benchmarks that have stood the test of time. He mentored some of the Rhône’s best winemakers today — like Jacques Grange of Delas Frères and André Brunel of CdP’s revered Les Cailloux — and now shares the stage with his Château Haut-Brion-trained daughter, Laure.
