You’re probably the sort of beautiful human that orders the extra sticky, bacon-infused cinnamon rolls as a brunch appetizer for the table, before your usual eggs benny, I'd bet. We love that. And you’re gonna ADORE this! A special GEM of Paso Cab, brought right onto our tasting bar by Erik Johnson – you know, former Head Sommelier for THE FRENCH LAUNDRY! YES!!! Think he knows a thing or two about what great wine is all about?! You bet! A toasty and decadent roller-coaster of pure, Paso exuberance! WAY under $30, which barely covers the added shipping charges on this extra THICK glass behemoth of sheer gargantuan proportions! This beast is BOLD and simply perfect for when the summer sun goes down, and that 48 oz porterhouse that you just grilled over hot coals comes off the Green Egg to rest up a bit. That, y’all, is when you break into this bad boy. Cocoa nibs, and pencil shavings, with a fresh-out-the-oven blackberry and blueberry pie, a spritz of heady cherry kirsch, and baked black plums, then percolating with peppermint, and clove, and wispy bits of bronze fennel…Yaaaaahooooooo! This is mouth-coating, teeth-staining, NOT FOR THE SHY goodness, my friends. Did I mention the molten chocolate-like quality? Or the polished essence of really pricey, freshly-scraped vanilla beans that lingers long after each sip? Oh, yeah. You’d be bragging to your work bestie about snagging this for only $75 if this were a Napa Cab – but at our utterly outrageous price of just TWENTY SIX DOLLARS?! You’re backflipping in silence, and loading up a six-pack (or more) into your cart all stealthy-like. Paso Robles Cab is one of the hottest wines in California at the moment – and this is a mighty fine example of how it is done RIGHT. They call it ESSENTIAL, and maybe that’s just brilliant marketing, but there’s no doubt…this is a MUST TRY!
