So we went a’hunting for more Ragtag…and jeez did we ever SCORE! Over 55% off EPIC single vineyard pinot from S.L.O.! In the 16th \u0026amp; 17th centuries – spoiled rich aristocrats belittled the working class by calling them “rag and tag” which meant ragged (ie; starving) with torn clothes. Words can hurt, right? But today – Ragtag is all about the power to the people…ONLY $19!!! Single vineyard, single clone (Dijon 777 for you Burghounds) PINOT NOIR from the heart of Edna Valley on California’s cool central coast! Greengate Ranch Vineyard just hit ten years of growing grapes , but this fruit, from a highly sought after 4 acre block on the upper slope, is turning heads in Edna Valley, and the rest of the Central Coast and California’s pinot producers won’t be far behind. This has all the cool “cherry” things going on – maraschino, bitter cherry, fresh, ripe cherry, and then a bit of currant swings on in, then comes alluring waft of roasted herbs… is that sage? Rosemary? Kiss of lavender? Wowza… I could bathe in this!!! Then comes the crash of toasty spices and warming yum-ness. Pie crust, rosewater, pomegranate molasses, ripe berry jam...all in a medium-body texture...just immensely satisfying sipper that closes with a hearty smack of the lips. NINETEEN DOLLARS, people! So, um...gotta go throw a case in the car now, before the orders come rolling in...get this sweet little deal while we have it!
