About this wine

The Vice is the sort of small production, family-run, pioneering-spirit sort of winery that we just LOVE. That they even exist in modern-day Napa Valley is no small feat – and these guys just flat out HUSTLE to get access to tiny plots of some of the best of the best vineyards across Napa Valley. This fruit hails from a single vineyard, eastern Oakville “ranch” that is a stone’s throw from Dalla Valle, and a rather bumpy sled ride down the slopes of the Vaca Mountains to the doorstep of Screaming Eagle. Volcanic red clays, meager nutrients, and minimal water mean you get POWERFUL, robust, and towering expressions of Oakville Cabernet – but here, rather than the $300-plus you might expect to pay, or even the $128 the winery charges – you can snag it for right under $50!!! I mean, no brainer, right???
