About this wine
I…love…my TEAM! VINEYARD 29 all day long? YES!!! High scoring gems, unreal deals, heady, unctuous, silky, and SEXY…all from the 100 point winemaker (and President/CEO/Grand General Extraordinaire) Keith Emerson! Y’all aren’t the only ones captivated and intrigued by the MAGIC \u0026amp; MADNESS that was our Elivette Days recently! Vineyard 29 wanted a day all their own…and my glorious buying team (call them my ambassadors of Qu’an) worked out an all-time deal to bring you Vineyard 29’s flagship estate Cabs, single-vineyard rarities, prized bottlings, and even a bit of their Super-Second bottling par excellence, CRU! Something for everyone, cascading bottle after glorious bottle, all day long, beginning with this STUNNING 93 POINT Ceanda Cabernet! Over 70% OFF?!?! Let’s get this party started!!! Yes, I’m work-cationing from Tuscany, sitting on my idyllic terracotta terrace with the backdrop of Montalcino’s freshly harvested vineyards in the background, but I went through every last bottle of these babies the day before I left (made for a very peaceful flight!) and this 2022 Ceanda is a certified ROCKSTAR! Galloni himself called it “terrific” TWICE, and only seven words apart. “Impressive” , too, and “pliant” and “layered” — and I’m with him on all counts. Keith’s wines are supremely polished, high-octane, plush and lush beasties…and this small production (under 600 cases) 2022 Ceanda pumps out waves of inky blackberry, and brandied cherry, with sultry mocha, and a spine of graphite, and roast-y, savory herbs. A lingering prettiness of vanilla and well-polished leather gives this enormous presence and persistence — and something capable of surviving for another decade plus — EASY. The wine is a 70/30 blend of their two estates, Aida and Vineyard 29, and while the winery normally offers this up at $165…you’re looking at less than FIFTY DOLLARS!!! Won’t last long, I imagine, so grab fast and come back often — ‘cause we got so…much…MORE to come! ** P.S. - If ever you find yourself in Montalcino, the fantastic folks at San Filippo have the most stellar agrotourisimo to stay at. Pool, pizza oven, wine tasting, vineyards, gardens, and the best people — a Tuscan paradise for certain. ** ** All orders will be combined and shipped from our West Coast warehouse, so give it a little time, East Coasters! We’ll also include ice packs if your state’s still running hot. **
